The location was stunning, in the middle of the city overlooking garden...

The meals were pretty steep at £25-35 per main course. We decided to eat elsewhere after the first night. The en-suite could use some freshening up, as it felt a bit dated and less inviting than it could be. The breakfast options were also limited, so be sure to request any milk alternatives before arrival.

A Nice Stay with Charming Features!
We enjoyed a cozy 3-night stay. Breakfast featured beautifully presented dishes that tasted good. For future guests, consider requesting milk alternatives in advance to enhance your morning experience. The outdoor area offered a lovely ambiance, ideal for a relaxing evening.

The Postgate Inn has a characterful charm. The outdoor seating area, adorned with vibrant flowers, created a good atmosphere for relaxation. I enjoyed the beautifully presented breakfast. Every dish tasted fantastic. The cozy ambiance. The en-suite in my room felt a bit dated and could use some freshening up. While the room was comfortable, the dining menu priced meals at £25-35 per main course felt a bit steep for the quality served. Breakfast was nice, but limited options without prior notice on milk alternatives left a little to be desired.

The Postgate Inn is an absolute gem with a fantastic outdoor seating area bursting with character! The breakfast? A culinary masterpiece, beautifully presented and utterly delicious. What's more, the staff were warm and cute.
While the room was charming, the en-suite could perhaps do with a cheeky refresh. Everything else, however, shined like a polished spoon!
